Silicone is the primary active ingredient (95%) in Cicalderm Silicone Gel. It's designed to increase hydration in the skin's outermost layer. This, in turn, reduces collagen production in the wounded area, preventing the formation of abnormal scars and improving the appearance of existing scars.

It shields the damaged tissue from bacterial invasion, which helps reduce excessive collagen production caused by bacteria in the wound area.

Regular use of Cicalderm Silicone Gel helps alleviate pain, redness, itching, and general discomfort associated with scars.

How to use Cicalderm Scar Silicone Gel

1. Start application after the wound has closed or stitches have been removed.
